An ecommerce operator focused on Google
Terry Ecom is the professional name of Terry Healy, a Scotland-based ecommerce operator specialising in Google Merchant Center, Google Shopping, Performance Max and the systems required to build durable online stores.
The work began inside real ecommerce businesses: preparing stores for Merchant Center review, diagnosing suspensions, improving product feeds, managing paid acquisition and making scaling decisions against contribution profit rather than surface-level revenue.
Operator, founder and educator
Terry created GMC Scout, GMC Protect, GMC Marketplace and WHAT Shipping? around recurring problems faced by ecommerce operators. He also leads the free GMC Help and Ultra ROAS communities, where merchants can learn practical approval, compliance and advertising systems.
Terry Ecom is independent and is not employed by Google. Google, Google Ads, Merchant Center and related marks belong to Google LLC.
How Terry works
- Evidence before assumptions: diagnose the store, feed, account and commercial model before recommending action.
- Compliance before scale: approval is not treated as a one-time hurdle; the store must remain consistent and trustworthy.
- Profit before vanity metrics: campaign decisions begin with contribution margin and break-even ROAS.
- Clear systems: turn experience into repeatable checklists, scorecards and operating rules.
